"SMEs beyond borders", the event concerning the Lugano International Business Cocktail, took place on Wednesday, September 21st 2011 at Palazzo Congressi of Lugano. The event saw the collaboration of SKW, the Swiss Association of SMEs, and Assoii Suisse, the Association of Italian Entrepreneurs in Switzerland.

Both associations represents a point of reference for all SMEs located in Italy and Switzerland, as well as all international companies aiming at receiving information and assistance about Italian and Swiss territory.

The event saw the intervention of  Vincenzo Caci, President of Swiss Business Group, Fernando Catalano, President of Assoii Suisse and Roland Rupp, Vice President of SKV, who signed a mutual partnership agreement, crucial for the assistance to entreprises during their path of internationalization.

The collaboration among the three organization aims at providing a complete support to all companies, in order to establish sound relationship between Swiss and Italian companies, and international ones.

During the event, two important events had been introduced: Matching 2011, the big event of matching in Milan, hosted at Fiera Milano - Rho from November, 21st to 23rd; and the key event for all entrepreneurs and entreprises: Start2Business, scheduled for May, 22nd and 23rd 2012, hosted in collaboration with Assoii Suisse, SKV and The Lantern Research, with the Lugano International Fiscal Forum.

The event saw a moment of Business Networking, during which the participants could meet each other and establish business contacts, and a Business Cocktail celebrating the 15th anniversary of Swiss Business Group.
